The Catholic Missionary Society (CMS), after 100 years of service, changed in 2003 to become the Catholic Agency to Support Evangelisation (CASE), which has also taken over the running of the Catholic Enquiry Office (CEO).
CASE’s remit is to resource and equip members of the Catholic community to share and celebrate their faith where they live, work and pray. The CEO meanwhile continues to offer a free confidential service to those enquiring about Catholic life and beliefs.
CASE is an official Agency of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales. (Registered Charity No. 1097482. Reg. Office: 39 Eccleston Square, London SW1V 1BX.) It is funded by the Catholic Dioceses of England and Wales and by income from donations.
