Section 07. Training/Formation Centres and Courses

Please see diocesan contacts and diocesan centres above in Section 2, many of which offer long-term and shorter courses in formation for evangelisation. Please see also Section 3, as the parish programmes listed there can properly be described as formation or training. Also, many of the Initiatives, Groups and Communities with Particular Ministries in Section 9 offer training and formation courses, retreats and study days/weekends.

We have divided this section into sub-sections based on time commitment: those which are of a year or more and which usually lead to a specific qualification such as a certificate, diploma or degree, and those which are shorter (a week or few weeks, study days or weekend workshops). Most of the Institutions offering long-term courses also offer shorter courses over weekends or study days, and it would be as well to check their prospectuses for what is on offer.

CASE is both a training/formation provider and a willing collaborator and/or consultant with partners in delivering training and formation. Not least we are able to offer workshops on a number of subjects connected with evangelisation and issues of faith and culture, and can offer advice on appropriate training for individuals and groups.
