27th April 27th, Healing Service at the RC National Shrine of Our Lady, Walsingham, in the Chapel of Reconciliation from 8pm to 9.30pm. It will be led by a Marist Father from New Zealand - Fr. John Rea sm. He is well known in New Zealand and Australia and beyond as having a gifted Healing Ministry.
The programme will include: praise and song, scripture readings and reflections, teaching on healing and a healing service. Availability of the Sacrament of Reconciliation will depend on the presence of other priests -but it is hoped that this will be possible! Every act of evangelisation is a fruit of prayer!

20 June, The Lawyers' Christian Fellowship - OPEN Public Seminar be held at the offices of Allen & Overy, 1 New Change, EC4 (nearest Tube: St Pauls) Start 6.30pm, conclude about 8pm (refreshments available from 6.15pm) "The Mental Capacity Act and the Joffe Bill: Euthanasia in Britain?" Speakers: James Bogle and David Foster. James Bogle is a barrister who has advised on the Mental Capacity Bill and its predecessor drafts since 1995. He has appeared in a number of medically related public law cases, including the Dianne Pretty case. He is co-author of Medical Law and Ethics and is an external lecturer at St George’s Hospital Medical School. James will give an overview of the law. David Foster is a Partner at Barlow Robbins and will look at the issues from a biblical perspective.
30th June, London-based CORE, Comment on Reproductive Ethics, invites you to attend a seminar on ‘Human Egg Trading and the Exploitation of Women’, European Parliament, Brussels to raise awareness among European women of health issues associated with the new biotechnology. The seminar, under the patronage of seven MEPs from five EP Groups (Green/ALE, PPE-DE, ALDE, IND/DEM and GUE/NGL), will address the ethical issues surrounding the growing world market in human eggs.
