• 2nd September, Theology of the body: exploring a John Paul II Institute for Great Britain. An event sponsored by the Department for Pastoral Affairs— Westminster diocese.

  Speaker: Christopher West, theologian and author of “Good News about Sex and Marriage;”

  Christopher West will lead a reflection and dialogue on Pope John Paul’s evolving theology of the body and how its impact could be a blueprint for pastoral renewal in the 21st century!

• 6th - 12th September, Rosary Crusade to end abortion. Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Friary Road, Peckham, London, are hosting perpetual adoration for seven nights and six days to pray for an end to abortion. • 19th - 22nd October, Annual Conference of Diocesan Vocation Directors and Promoters, Oscott, Birmingham. Theme: Exploring Links between vocation and evangelisation, the significance of the new movements. Organised by the National Office for Vocation. CASE team members are contributing.
• 20th - 21st October Building Bridges of Hope, Future Church Conference. High Leigh Conference Centre, Hoddesdon. Herts. EN11 8SG. Theme: Sharing Christian Faith and Values in a Post-Christendom Context. The 2004 BBH conference is focusing on the crucial aspect of how we creatively, respectfully and in diverse contexts share the Christian faith and collaborate with the non-churched in shared values initiatives among the people in our islands. The BBH Director, Terry Tennens, said "It is sure to be a provocative and creative time together listening and discussing the why's, where, and how for faith sharing as a 21st century local church!"

• 29th-31st of October, Parish or Perish - a Sion Youth Weekend. It should be a great weekend dealing with topics like:
  'What parishes should be like'
  'Finding your home in your parish'
  'The spirituality of parish life'
  'The role of normal people' and
  'What can I bring to my parish'.
